No, it;s only a rule not to date your own relatives. Be happy for them and hope it works out as if it doesn't, THEN it will be awkward!

Uh oh- Sounds like you're afraid of being left out in the cold a bit-perhaps you are afraid they will go off and leave you on your own a lot (which probably will happen). I think you should widen your circle of friends- then you can arrange to do things together and still see your friend and your cousin. Try and see their relationship as something positive because its making the two people you love most happy. If you let your jealousy get in the way you may just lose them both.

It might be a little strange at first, but as long as they're happy together, maybe you should be happy for them instead of upset. About you just finding out even though they've been dating for two weeks... perhaps they were worried that you'd react unfavorably. It seems as though they both know you pretty well. Instead of being judgemental, why not ask them to join you for dinner somewhere, your treat. You can apologize for your stunned reaction, and observe the two of them at the same time. Reserve your judgement for a little while. It's probably not a bad thing, even if it is a little awkward for you.

no its not a rule! wouldnt you prefer to see your cousin go out with a guy that must be a pretty good guy seeing that hes your best mate!!! Get over it - wish them both well and let it at that! If they break up - they break up - these things happen
Dont do anything stupid - just get yourself a girlfriend so ye can double date!

Aslo that they kept this from you would have upset you.
Well its guna b wierd for you, because its like ur best mate dating ur sister. You will see them gettin close, and you might feel replaced or not good enough for your cousin.

Surely you'd want your cousin and best mate to be happy etc so give them space and time.

u got 2 choices: 1. accept it and every1 gets along fine. 2. dont accept it and you could end up pushing them both away... i understand where you are coming from but it would be a good idea to let them run their course and stay out of their relationship
