Well? That happens when different people write different stories, just think of it as a collection of fairy tale stories in a book, and there is bound to be some contradictions, because of different authors, writing different stories and putting all of them in the same book. For the bible, it is the same thing plus with the mistranslations from language to another language, and for the people who say there is none, why did they update the old testament with a new testament? If it was already perfect, why change it or was there a need to change it (from old to new)?

Do you know that there is a strong probability that 50% of any group of people will contain 50% that do not know this fact and another 50% who have heard about it but still remain to be convinced.
Of the remaining 50%, the majority simply won't care, the remainder will sit on the fence, easily swayed into either camp with the right encouragement.
I think you should actually quote all 1,500 (or more) contradictions so that a proper Poll can be conducted and not rely on the breakdown percentages that I have pulled from various sources (don't tell anyone, but I made them up!).

Did you know that all of these so called contradictions come from your lack of understanding. Did you read where it says "they do not understand these things because these things are SPIRITUALLY discerned, and they do not have the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is like the Rosetta stone of the Bible. I will bet you did not know either till you read it somewhere, without doing your own investigation. The biggest contradiction is YOU, making a statement that has not been properly studied. I do not take the word of someone about the Bible till I have looked at it and prayed about it, so I will not be fooled. The least you could do before making a statement that someone else has made, is to find out for yourself what they are talking about and the truth behind it, if there is any

There are no contradictions in the Bible!
Supposed contradictions in God’s word are widely advertised by Mormons, Muslims, Modernists, Bible skeptics and Atheists in an attempt to trash the Bible as God’s word.

I know that most of those so called contradictions are not contradictions. And that men have a habit of deviating, so those parts that are truly contradictions are typical for ages old texts that are copied by hand. I also believe that some people will use any sort of deviation to throw the baby out with the bathwater, and make excuses for themselves to not consider the greater message in the Bible, because they hate it in the first place.
Means nothing to me, God didn't want those people anyway.

Having spent over 50 years reading, studying and teaching the book, I have yet to find one contradiction within it. There are times when God says two different things. but it is to differrent people in different situations. There are times in which two witnesses to an event record it from different prespective or include different details. And there are list floating around of some of the most ridiculous readings of the Bible you will ever find. (Such as "before Adam and Eve sinned, God says everything is good, but after they sin God says things are bad". That is not a contraction. That is the plot of the book).
There are not 1500 errors or contradictions in the Bible.

As many translations, as many writers, as much information, as long ago written, are all factors in errors or contradictions. If you personally are familiar enough to find them, then you know The Word very well. Congratulations. Now allow The Spirit to guide you in your understanding of The Word. God is The Word and I'm sure that even Omniscience, Omnipresence, and Omni whatever else has to undergo things at one extreme and/or the other in all eternity. You get what you focus on. So you make the choice to hone in on The Message or the contradictions. But, thanks for pointing it out to the rest of us.

neither
most of what you are calling are merely a result of short summaries of larger events... if you have several short summaries, posibly with slightly difference intended emphasis some will bring up different aspects of something... not contradictions though
in some cases, an author may combine several events into one as a literary device
and in very few cases, there might be small scribal error and it is the original text which is inspired not the translations... but these cases are few and known from manuscript comparisons

Just because you don't believe it doesn't make it an error. The Bible is the inspired Word of God. Again, non-believers need to quit trying to interpret the Bible.

There are only translational errors in the Bible. You call them contradictions when you do not understand the Bible message. All contradictions are explainable. Remember, the Bible is from ancient time. There are Bible difficulties, not errors. : )
