SAD to hear this, am personal facing the same problem...
Yep, confused, and really worried for him. Yet, all I do is really concerate at work and try my best to forget about him.
I respect that he would have his reasons for leaving and do not blame him at all.
Just ask yourself, IF he/she comes back someday, will you give him/her a second chance? If yes, than you'd have to be patient and wait. If the answer is no, then simply move on.

I'm sure ur very confused do u know anyone that knows her that u could contact cause u need to find out the cause of her going because it looks like she is trying to deal with something on her own.
