I kicked his butt. Wrong decision, but, I did learn to understand what Jesus meant about loving those who hate you.

Satan is such a wimp. He has to keep everyone fighting with each other so he can retain control. It is kind of like the old adage; "Find a penny hold it tight and you won't have any. Give it away and you'll have plenty." Satan tries so hard to control everything he can't really control anything so he pretends to enjoy the chaos.

It is really sad.

There is a joke that goes "One day the Devil himself burst the doors of a church open during services. As He strode down the isle, the smell of fire and brimestone followed him, and the parishioners ran screaming from the church. As He went to the front of the church the priests and attendants fled too. Proud and smug, the Devil turned back to look at what He thought would be an empty church and he sees one little old man, who had remained steated throughout the whole thing, reading a book.
Puzzled the Devil walks back down the isle and goes to sit next to the old man, who barely glances at Him.
He says to the old man "Do you know who I am?" and the man repiles "Yes, you're the Devil Incarnate"
The devil then asks him "Do you know that I can make your life a living hell, a constant torment?" The old man looks at him and simply says "Yep." then goes back to the book in his hands.
Then the Devil says "Do you realise that I can make the afterlife worse than anything you can imagine, full of horrors?" Again the old man just says "Yep." and keeps on reading.
"Why?" asks the Devil, "Why do you not fear Me?"
The old man slowly closes his book, looks the Devil straight in the eye and says simply "I married your sister"

The Devil is the ultimate salesman;if you listen to him long enough,he's sure to make a sale.So if I the Devil appeared to me,the wisest thing to do would be to run away.Besides, trying to persuade the Devil to stop being naughty is like trying to persuade a lion to stop eating meat and go vegetarian. It's in his nature, and that's NOT gonna change.Besides, why would he ever listen to one of US?I find the notion quite hilarious!Well, thanks for the laugh, anyway.

MARK16:15 He (JESUS)said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16:16 The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who does not believe will be condemned. 16:17 These signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;10 16:18 they will pick up snakes with their hands, and whatever poison they drink will not harm them;11 they will place their hands on the sick and they will be well.” 16:19 After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. 16:20 They went out and proclaimed everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through the accompanying signs.]]

If the devil appeared to you, you would not know it. He would seem very beautiful and attractive to you and wooing you to be naughty. You won't stand a chance if you don't have a prayer.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was...(I think you know that one).

You are to rebuke him in the name of Jesus. he has no busniess talking or appraching you. The battle was already won at the cross. You are on Jesus' side.
He is a powerful being and we can't reason with him-he is the origin of sin-we are mortals dont take a chance and be bold.
Rebuke him and pray. But Dont ever be AFRAID of him rather Fear more the one that created him and the one who is going to destroy him.

My pastor tells about a time he was on a mission trip in South America. One of the native "witch doctors" had put a "curse" on him. In the middle of that night, he was waken by a terrible howl, and jumped up to see satan before him in a cloud of smoke and fire. He says the devil threatened him and lighted at him. According to my pastor, once he reaplized who it was, he said, "Oh, its just you." Rolled over and went back to sleep.

If the devil appeared to me, I'd ask him what he said to god that got him kicked out of heaven. Then I'd check myself into a mental institution. I'd have to be seriously over-stressed or something to be seeing things like that.

He's got all those body guards around him all the time so perhaps the only way any of us would get to meet him was if we were taking a tour of the White House.
