Remember the "Are you jimmy ray?" guy?
I remember watching something where he had a guitar, and was fake strumming to his song.
Fret hand stayed stationary and his strumming hand was wide open...
so lame.

By prop if you mean like just something they hold bcuz it makes them look rockier then yes i really hate it when singers do that.
