I wished that a certain guy would care for me me when I was 13 (he was a bit, uh, older). He did (when I was older, obviously), and I got involved in something that I later regretted. Ah, live and learn.

I wanted to be hired as a motorcycle cop when I was a kid and I actually got to do it for 16 of my 21 years as a police officer. I still can't believe I got to do that sometimes. It was just awesome, exciting, dangerous and sometimes even boring, but never not worth it.
