Is this poetry site entirely free? As I am thinking of posting my poetry on it. Also, does anyone know of any writers sites in Australia where posting one's writing is free?

poetry.com is much better, completely free, and when you enter a poem, you are automatically entered to win $10,000.00

The site is free unless you want a paid membership. Those memberships cost about $5 a month as a minimum and give you options to include your own images and use html. The free acounts just don't have the benefits of decorating to a full extent.
I've a free acount, occasionally Gold Memberships (the highest paying acounts) are given free for a week to all members and there is a competition every day to win a free weeks Gold.
Definetly worth signing up for a free acount. You will first receive a complimentary few days of Silver membership (Second highest paying). There's Gold, Silver and Free.

Hope that helps.

www.thestarlitecafe.com is free and you can upload pics.

I have had an account on allpoetry for sometime now and I love it! (over a year) It's a very nice community. You can pay if you desire member options, otherwise it is completely free. (members just get other things like adding music, pictures. etc...) While i'm not sure about sites for specifically people who live Australia I have come across some members on allpoetry who live in Australia.
