My I-book ejects any blank CD/DVD straight away. is this a preference setting or do i need to get it looked at

G4 i-book earlie 2006, It has not accepted blank discs since i've had it. i thought this was because i didn't have programs to support it and a bit of laziness as i wasn't using it much.

Take it in for service, the drive may be defective.

If you have Apple Care, the repair should be free.
