Ice Cube and all the hip-hop people are some of the worst things to exploit black people since chattel slavery.
That said, encouraging people like Imus, who are simply trying to be 'cool' makes no sense.
Avoiding black people because of either bunch of nutcases makes no sense; it is your loss.

I am so sick of stupidity. With your attitude, I wouldn't want to work with you.
Don Imus is a shock jock; insulting people and tasteless humor is what he does - so I've heard. I don't listen to Don's show. If Ice-Cube speaks foul words against woman...he may, but I don't know because I don't listen to him either. There is this wonderful invention called the off button. No one is forcing you or I to buy any gangster rap album. Did you know that people who don't like foul insults choose not to support those artist. No, you probably didn't because you assume that all blacks are the same people.
I don't think that many people in America are that bright so you are not alone. Al Sharpton was not elected leader of the blacks. He is a man with a mission and I don't remember him asking my opinion about his work. So you, and others like you, no matter what color they are, help to keep racism alive because you are not bright enough to critically think about an issue before you make judgment. You really believe that the majority of blacks in America is welcoming of insulting black artist into their home while scolding white people who insult blacks. Is that what you heard? Is that what you really believe? Do you really believe that all blacks are basically the same?

Now I for one do not care or follow the likes of Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. And I know there's a double standard and you have proven it because I don't even know about what Ice Cube said.
But for you not to hire me because of what two people did, that's your prejudice not mine. And I could care less about how many think like you. It's because of people like you that affirmative action is still around. Your Loss? Your win?

Every black person isn't offended by what Don Imus said. And there are some that are. But just because you are a lazy, coward, prejudiced person, that doesn't mean we are all the same. Or that we share the same views about things. Get a life! MY WIN!!!

You guys should stop being hyporcrites and take life a little easier than it comes. Your so angry over something that has nothing to do with you. Our so called leader has nothing to do with me. Your the reason Affirmative Acton exist btw, call it racist if you will.

I agree with you
Reguardless of what others say about you in this question I think you are right and that there are millions that are tired of the double standard and in this country and like you try to avoid any dealings with blacks or any minorities if possible

It would be rather idealistic to wish that racism of any sort would be eliminated from society. I don't think it ever will happen. So unfortunately, we still have to deal with the ignorance and pain of it all.

I thought it was illegal to not hire someone because of their race, and if there are many people who think like you, then that's a loss for your community and I feel sorry for any and everyone around you who has to put up with your absurd way of thinking.
