I won't give the year, although I will say that I'm younger than you, Mike which means I'm also younger than Peepaw. However, I am about as much older than Amie La Rose as you and Peepaw are older than me. Big Hits from my graduation year: "Bette Davis Eyes" by Kim Carnes "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell "Woman" by John Lennon (just a few weeks after his death the single hit #1) "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins Marriages: Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli; Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach Both Steven Tyler (motorcycle) and Eric Clapton (car) were injured in accidents. Clapton had to cancel his U.S. tour due to bleeding ulcers (he was hospitalized for several weeks). U2 made their first U.S. television appearance. John Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas was convicted of drug possession, but he avoided jail time. The first issue of Kerrang! magazine, with Angus Young of AC/DC on the cover, was released. The Violent Femmes were discovered, by band members of the Pretenders, and were invited to open a Pretenders concert. Simon and Garfunkel performed their famed Central Park reunion concert with an estimated 500,000 fans in attendance.

1988- "I had the time of my life" can't remember the artists but I remember it because it was kind of our "theme" song when a bunch of us went to England over Spring Break.
And I know my absolute least fave of that year....."Don't worry Be happy"....talk about over kill.
P.S. I loved that Warrior song, still do I think *wink*
