My breasts are a little on the large side. I am a 34F. I feel more secure sleeping with my bra on. If I take it off to sleep My breasts feel very tender and heavy. I was wondering. Am I doing any damage by wearing a bra 24/7. I wear underwire bras with wide straps for extra support. Recently I have noticed a permanent red mark under my breasts where my bra sits on my rib cage. thats why I was wondering if i may be doing unseen damage to the breast tissue itself ..

Since you are used to wearing bras on during sleep, it might feel uncomfortable for a few times if you try to sleep without them. This way, your breast would be more comfortable in the sense that their not "claustrophobic" & they can "freely move around." Also, underwires in the bras would be "anti-comfort" because of its solid structure, besides from putting pressure on your breast & skin. The red marks prove my point that it affects yours breast & skin.

Also, if your aiming for less breast movement since your on the large side, try to pick a "favorite" sleeping position, whether on your sides or on your back, for a more comfortable night's sleep.

Having large breasts myself, I have been told that wearing a sports bra or non underwire bra is best for sleep. I opt not to wear one and will probably regret that when I get older due to sagging. Check with a physician.

Yes it is ok to sleep with a bra on but check for bras that are specially designed just for sleeping. My mom has a couple of these and find them to be very comfortable.

Yes, i think it is ok to sleep with your bra on. However, it was found out that ladies who sleep with their bras on are more likely to develop breast cancer later in their later years than ladies who do not.. I read this from an internet site.. I did consult my doctor and she says it should be alright...

However you feel comfortable is fine. As for the mark on your ribs, it may just be from the under wire rubbing. Its totally fine to sleep with it on!

if you feel more comfortable like that, then do it. but it's better to sleep without panties to let your vagina breath, it prevents infections.

there is some chance that laying on your bra can cut off lymphatic fluid circulation, bit if you're a big person I think the risk is minimal

i believe the dude with 6 hearts in his call (above, hi up there)... incorrect section... yet sexual confusion aside my gf has subject concerns sound asleep with bras and he or she in many situations is going topless or a wears an fairly extensive t-blouse designed for extensive fat men (that's like being wrapped in a 2d blanket devoid of the uncomfortableness)
