Rarely with any filter give 10-15 hp. Under dyno tuning will give it maybe 5hp to the wheels. You will probably notice if you been driving your truck for a while before the mod. But little if you mod it right away. The filter will save you a little bit more gas if anything.

If you want power than test pipes are the biggest bang for the buck. You got to know someone to put it on and off when smogs comes around though.

Someone on the MB Coupes list tried their V8 car on a dyno with the factory filter then replaced it with a?&N filter. Horsepower output actually fell with the "performance" filter. So I am pretty doubtful that "hot-up" filters actually work. Of course the MB has a factory cold air intake.

Yeah if it's a cold-air charge (pulls air from outside the engine compartment). That with a free flow cat back exhaust system ought make a serious gain. If you got the bank, TRD (Toyota Racing Div) makes a bolt on super charger for it also, but like I said , it's pricey. There is also a high flow fuel filter thats cheap.

no if it were so Toyota would have done this at the factory, all these engineers 30 years plus and they forgot this I don't think so its a marketing ploy , and Toyota will not or will not enforce the vehicle warrenty when altering your vehicle, only this you will notice it may not ever pass smog in California cause its against the law now to tamper with any emission device on any vehicle and your wallet will be thinner, save your money for the rising fuel prices, good question

I doubt that it will give you enough to notice. what you will notice is more sound from the engine compartment. The sucking sound will be more noticeable
