Most of the republican candidates have a characteristic of strength and leadership, but with the exception of maybe Obama, all the democratic candidates appear socially retarded and sickly.

Is this hope to darwinian for you...the hope that our next president have an image or persona of strength?

By the way...don't bother to argue that edwards or anyone else has this...anyone who says so is hoplessly pc and party loyal as opposed to concerned for the nation interests.

We need a strong leader to run our country regardless of politics. I think Guilianni is the strongest leader running. We need someone who will be willing to make tough decisions even if they are unpopular (that rules out Hillary and Obama).

It is most likely; however, that our next president will be elected because they have a personality that people appreciate. In other words, they are likable.

The world is a dangerous place and no wimp can be a true leader.
Leaders make the hard decisions, they listen to the best advise available, weight opions and go.
Diplomacy has it's place but not at the expense of reason.

Al Gore has a quiet-type of strength; intelligence, strength of character, passion; that this country needs in a leader.

The days of the wild-eyed Texas cowboy, whooping a$$ on the world are gone; diplomatic means are more effective than fear tactics.

Obviouly, you are Republican-biased, because it is the party you want to be identified with. However, the "other party" has competant leaders as well. It undermines your credibility when you knock their character with a blanket, biased generalization.

he may be short, he may smile a lot, & bushites may think him a wimp, but i'm thinking:
*The immediate withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Iraq and replacing them with an international security force.
*Guaranteed quality education for all, including free pre-kindergarten and college for all who want it.
*Repealing the USA PATRIOT Act.
*Preventing the privatization of social security.
*Ending the war on drugs.
*Restoring rural communities and family farms.
