My Mom called all us kids Huns. I'm not sure if it was short for calling us kids Honey or she was actually calling us The Huns.

My dad use to call me his "petit chou" (small cabbage in french), we aren't french just something he picked up.
I have a tendency to call thing I like, kids, dogs, etc. dumpling
My little dumpling...don't ask me? I call my son "meatball"
I have been honey, sugar, sweetie, pumpkin, darling, angel, baby. But I like pumpkin, and sweetie (and of course my dads petit chou, but nobody else could use that one).
And you know what? I think Petunia is adorable, if a guy I was with called me that I'd be perfectly happy, because Petunias are beautiful! And it could definitely be much worse... he could be calling me s*ithead or yo *itch! lol

i love it when my hubby calls me baby. Its so sweet. His original nickname is Pookie and since I am pretty much the femal version of him... he calls me his little Pookett. I love my Bear! also another name of endearment for him that I have... as in teddybear... I think it just depends on the woman.. :o)
