I have 6 months plus experience working as a certified nursing assistant. I will be moving to Hawaii soon to be with my husband who is a Marine. I don't know whether or not to live on base or getting an apartment off base...I guess all this depends on my financial situation. I am not sure what it is like living on base either, I am new to this whole military lifestyle! If anyone can put forth their input it would be greatly appreciated...Thanks...

on base you have more cheap things for military like movies, groceries, and housing.
also close people who share your problems or interests.

It does vary from state to state. Here in good old Arkansas (waaa) you don't have to have your CNA to work in a nursing facility or hospital. When you do take the test to become certified no other state accepts it except Missouri. So it is different from state to state. You could call the college and find out whats different in Wisconsin as opposed to another state. Good Luck!!
