Life (or God if you are religiou) gives us many wonderful and amazing gifts, it is up to us to make the most of what we get.
For example, an Australian athlete who always dreamed of going to the Olympics was involved in a motorcycle accident and lost both his legs.
There he was lying in the rehab hospital, and what was he thinking "Hey now it will be easier to get to the Olympics...or at least the ParaOlympics"

As trite as this sounds, one just needs to find something that they are passionate about. Be it animal rights, a cause, a board game, religion or an anti-religion movement. The world needs it all. While you wont agree with everyone, the key is just to remember that they are just as important as you are and should be treated like it.
Just have fun and like what you do and who you are, don't be afraid to change or try something new

You're all equally beautiful. Be kind to one another and forgive yourself for the things you may regret.
Forgiveness does not release the offending party of their own conscience or karma, it frees your heart from the confines of suffocating hate.

Too much worrying is bad for you. Time smoothens the rough edges, both good and bad feelings. So, there is not much point getting too happy about good and too unhappy about bad things. Life goes on... make it peaceful, with smaller vibrations, not huge osciallations.

Be kind to the animals - you will be rewarded. If nothing else, it will make you feel really good. Better yet, if you know of an animal that is being abused - help it, don't hesitate. Then smile - you made the world a better place.

yes.
you must learn to love the fool in you — the one who feels too much, talks too much, takes too many chances, wins sometimes and loses often, lacks self-control, loves and hates, hurts and gets hurt, promises and breaks promises, laughs and cries.
It alone protects you against that utterly self-controlled, masterful tyrant whom you also harbor and who would rob you of human aliveness, humility, and dignity if not for your fool.
