I will go for travelling in next 2 weeks. So I will leave my notebook in my house without using it. will this make any side effects on it?

It should be fine, but you might want to check what the computer manufacture says about storing the battery. Some maunfacturers say to store the battery with a half charge, while others do not. Just make sure that you store your computer in a cool and dry place...

just make sure you unplug it from a wall, and I would also unplug the battery. Other than that, it shouldn't do anything at all.

unplug it from the wall in case your house, by slim chance, gets hit by lightning and it frys your laptop.

unplug battery, because if you're not going to use it for two weeks, it's just a better idea longterm.

two weeks shouldn't do anything to your laptop.

Of course NOT! Make sure the battery is fully charged.

Just don't put it in the freezer. Now you can laugh!
