Oral herpes is an infection caused by the herpes simplex virus. The virus causes painful sores on your lips, gums, tongue, roof of your mouth, and inside your cheeks. It also can cause symptoms such as fever and muscle aches.
The herpes simplex virus affects only humans. Mouth sores most commonly occur in children aged 1-2 years, but they can affect people at any age and any time of the year.
People contract herpes by touching infected saliva, mucous membranes, or skin. Because the virus is highly contagious, most people have been infected by at least 1 herpes subtype before adulthood.
After the herpes virus infects you, it has a rather unique ability to proceed to 3 stages.
Primary infection: The virus enters your skin or mucous membrane and reproduces. During this stage, oral sores and other symptoms, such as fever, may develop.
The virus may not cause any sores and symptoms. You may not know that you have it. This is called asymptomatic infection.
Asymptomatic infection occurs twice as often as the disease with symptoms.
Latency: From the infected site, the virus moves to a mass of nervous tissue in your spine called the dorsal root ganglion. There the virus reproduces again and becomes inactive.
Recurrence: When you encounter certain stresses, emotional or physical, the virus may reactivate and cause new sores and symptoms.
The answer to your question...Yes an attractive person who has been infected is still attractive. I have seen lots of attractive people who have "Cold Sores"....which is another name for oral herpes. I'm not going to kiss them while their herpes is active.
I hope this answered your question for you.

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?
But after a friend share this video everything has changed.

It depends on your concept of 'attractive'.
If attractive to you only means physical features, yes, they would still be attractive in that sense. If your sense of 'attractive' is more broad, including personality, morality, ethics etc. having something like oral herpes may cause them to seem less attractive than before.

Well, you said they are attractive so I suppose the answer is yes. They can't be an unattractive attractive person. Also, it would help if said person had really big hooters.

i think any std is unattractive becaus it's a sign that the person is generally irresponsible. however, if you're talking about a fever blister, almost everyone gets one at some point. i read or heard somewhere that even kids get them, because they're so easy to catch-from even your parents kissing you.

The soar isn't but I think they would be. I'll be darned if I'm doing any kissing in the midst of an outbreak though.
