It is nothing to do with batsman. It is the selection team which shuld send warning and still if he doesnot perform chuck the batsman out. If i am at this position, i will take a break and build my confidence and prove my status then.

My son was a batsman. Nothing to do with his diet. He got by on speed and attitude.
