Julius Caesar was the most famous Roman general and one of the most influential men in the history of the world.
He neve lost a war and during this time,he extended the roman empire right up to the Atlantic ocean.He conqured Gaul,(the Europeon region that corresponds to the modern France, Belguim,Germany, And Italy) and invaded Britain.
He was a great orator and popular leader too.

GAIUS JULIUS CAESAR celebrated Roman general and statesman, the conqueror of Gaul (58-50 BC), victor in the Civil War of 49-46 BC, and dictator (46-44 BC), who was launching a series of political and social reforms when he was assassinated by a group of nobles in the Senate House on the Ides of March. He was not Roman Emperor!. His adopted son became the first emperor.
