And this is a problem because... why?
I wouldn't worry about it. Perhaps she feels more confident drawing females because she is one, so that's what she draws more of. It may be her particular talent.

So what if she doesn't have any pictures of boys. What does that matter?
lol, when you have a true talent for art like myself, you don't always know everything. To sharpen your skills with art, you have to take classes and learn from others. I used to only draw girls and women because I'ma girl myself first of all and it was exciting drawing a nice dress I'd like to have or a cerrain hairstyle i'd like to try. ya know? The other reason was :::I was talented but not really experienced and I didn't really know how to draw a guy.
Only other artists who have experienced the same thing she has (funny thing I found this question 'cause I do the same as she does) will understand.
Maybe she's just better at drawing girls and still needs pratice on the male human strusture and poise. I know that's why I hardly draw men. But I'll be attending an art school for college when I graduate next year in 2008! So I'll be better at drawing other things than what I'm used to!

There are a variety of reasons to choose to draw women or girls over men or boys. It depends on what you're drawing. Personally, clothing-wise, there's just not muchvariety when it comes to men and boys. Women and girls have such a variety of clothes to wear, all different fabrics and patterns. That might be what appeals to her.

same here!!
i loove to draw women (especially in nude) and i can't draw a guy... when i attempt to do so, the guy looks like a girl instead, some looks gay...maybe because, women have these curves that are so soft and so easy to draw..in my part, i love to emphasize the eyes and the hair when drawing women..
ever since i was a kid, women is the subject of my doodles and sketches.. even now that i am trying to draw manga, women is still the easiest to make...

She may be expressing the things in life that bring her comfort and joy. Perhaps men and boys are not part of that picture at this point in her life.
Every artist expresses as they are inspired, perhaps boys and men are not inspiring for her. Men and boys receive a lot of attention in this world and perhaps she is claiming her own experience by drawing things that are sacred to her-- in effect cultivating a self-accepting, feminine friendly personal experience.
Since this is something you are taking issue with I think it may be helpful to you to think about why and how her expression is affecting you. Perhaps she is not "boy crazy" and her concentration on the feminine is troubling to you?
Now the question should arise, "Why am I troubled by her expression?"
Every human is a world unto themselves.

It might be because that she sees girls have better "capabilities" to be drawn(eg.girls are easier to draw or boys are not too good to draw).

perhaps she has been affected somehow by men or boys. She may be a feminist, not insulting... If I did, sorry.

You are spending too much time analyzing others. When you are great, and people ask for your opinion in your area of expertise, then and only then, can you comment, voluntarily, that is.
