In 2000 there were about 250,000 Brazilians in Japan. Besides Tokyo, Toyota City has had a lot of Brazilian immigrants due to Toyota needing labor to make cars.Oizumi a town of 42,000 has about 6500 foreigners, mostly Brazilians.

I dated a Brazillian girl that lived in Tsurumi. It's about 8km south of Tokyo. There are many Brazillians living there. Many restaraunts and shops specializing in Brazillian products.

I think you have it backwards...There are a large number of Japanese living in Brazil.
