Like this:

125x^6 - y^6

= (5x^2)^3 - (y^2)^3

=[(5x^2) - (y^2)] x [(5x^2)^2 + (5x^2)(y^2) + (y^2)^2]

=[(5x^2) - (y^2)] x [(25x^4) + (5x^2)(y^2) + (y^4)]

={ [(sqrt5)x - y] x [(sqrt5)x - y] } x [(25x^4) + (5x^2)(y^2) + (y^4)]

={ [(sqrt5)x - y] x [(sqrt5)x - y] } x [25x^4 + 5(xy)^2 + y^4].

a^3-b^3=(a-b)(a^2+ab+b^2)

125x^6-y^6=(5x^2)^3-(y^2)^3

answer is

(5x^2-y^2)(25x^4+5x^2*y^2+y^4)

(5x^2)^3-(y^2)^3
=(5x^2-y^2)(25x^4+5x^2y^2+y^4)(ans.)
as a^3-b^3=(a-b)(a^2+ab+b^2)
