~NANA is a great 'slice of life' comic about two girls in Tokyo trying to make their way in life. (They're both coincidentally named 'Nana', so that's where the title comes from.)

i liked love hina. paradise kiss is a slice of life romance, and I liked it. it was just too short. Rec was a good one too. it's about a voice actress and her neighbor and their odd relationship.
