Jump out of a birthday cake naked!! :) LOL

I think you should go hiking to a waterfall and bring a special romantic lunch. Take lots of pictures and then surprise him with a birthday cupcake! Before hiking back, stop him and kiss him, love him, tell him HAPPY BIRTHDAY in a cute voice and make him feel like he so so special! It wont really cost anything other then food, look on line waterfall hiking. Get him "in the mood" but save the excitement for home.

well you can take him to a baseball or football game or basketball pick a team he likes and suprise him with good seats to the game. if he likes fishing you can go to a near by lake and fish together for the day. or rent a canoe go out in the water pack a picnic basket and paddle up to a private area and let your hair down bring a blanket and have privacy so he gets his outdoors in more ways than one hehe.

if he likes to golf set up a tee time for him at a golf course you can afford ( only if you golf if not this wont' be fun for him)

how about playing tennis at your local arena or ice skating in your town.

if you have mountains or trails around you again you could pack a nap sack some lunch and take a hike into the mountains or wooods. or ride your bikes together out in the country fresh air make a day out of it stopping along the way to smell the roses no rush and pack a pic nic.

if you have a lake where they rent boats you could do that too or take a sail boat ride together romantic and fun at the same time.

enjoy what ever you choose to do with him i think its nice you want to do things he enjoys also.

Surprise him. Get some friends together and have a big cookout, with volleyball, or some other outdoor games. Tell everyone to bring gag gifts. Make him a funny looking birthday chair and a goofy looking crown. Let him open all of the gag gifts in front of his friends. Believe me, we did it and it turned out to be a great party.

Buy something from my blog. It depends what your husband's into. Baseball - Go to a ball game - $9.00, football, hockey, do to a game, golf, camping, go camping. fishing, go fishing.
Sporty guys like to bond with other men, maybe throw him a party at home with his friend, while you cook them a very nice meal, that cost less than $50.00. then kick the men out and just you and him. Bar B- Q party, tell the guys to bring something, you have to spend nothing, except on his gift!
