I am referring to those people who dress in Hollister-like clothing, torn jeans, sandals, sunglasses, etc. They like to use the phrase "I'm kind of a big deal" and they act as if they were better than everyone else. O and C are their 2 favorite letters in the alphabet.
The reason I'm asking this is because I know some people who fit this description. I was just curious to see if there was a correct term for this type of person.

I'm not sure. When you find out let me know because I'm one. I'd like to know what people call me for wearing relaxed clothing as described above. But, my two favorite letters in the alphabet are "F" and "U". :-)

Well not everyone here in CA dresses like that. We call those people "Preppy" at best, or just "Tools."
I think "Tool" works nicely. Like, "What a tool. Does she think she's in the OC?"
