When I am using my PC, doing some work for example...it just reboots by itself all of a sudden. This is not the first time it's happened. I scanned it for viruses but there are none. What's worng with it? What so I do?

I would try disk clean up and then defragment. Hope this helps. Shut down after doing this and then wait a minute and turn it back on. Good luck.

Most likely your CPU cooling fan has either stopped, slowed down or the heatsink full of dust etc.
In some cases the clip that holds the heatsink and fan down breaks in 1 or more points and is no longer secure to the chip.

Is your room warm to start with?

Does it happen within a similar timeframe?

Then this could be it. Else blame the power supply or motherboard controller chip (heatsink and/or fan)

Still sounds like a virus...try rebooting in " safe mode" then scan for viruses...see what happens.

i had suffered from this same problem.
it is caused due to a virus and as it progresses your PC will not even start after a while.
so if possible save copies of all important documents, music, pics, etc before it messes your system.
then take it for repair where they will do an external format.

It may be due to virus problem. Scan with an updated antivirus. It may be problem with Operating System reinstall operating system and see. If still the problem is there then it may be problem with smps or motherboard.
