Try start/connect to/show all connections/right click on the connection that you are using/repair

To stay connected as long as possible, you can try control panel / power options / click never in all the boxes , and/or try

Keep in mind that the dial-up services have caught on to this, and many of them are now set up to disconnect you after a certain number of hours, even if there is activity on your line.

Your telephone line has loose connections or too many joints, Check the lines for fault, your connection will be all right after the repair or replacing with the new wires

I suspect it is your Internet service provider. Maybe the software has corrupted. Just a guess, but you may want to remove software and re install it. Good luck. Otherwise call your IP
