You are going to meet many bi-racial or multi-racial people in life, so for those who think mixing races is a crime, you ought to open your mind and stop living in your own dimentional one! So what if a Black and White person has a baby, or a Mexican and a Chinese person has a baby! You say you don't want them to grow up being hated by others who think it's wrong to be bi-racial! Please, many people are accepting, and find it quite exotic and beautiful to see a mixed person. Many loved celebrities are the eye candy of others. It's your job as a parent to assure your child that love has no color, or no definition saying you have to be with your own kind! I have a Black mother and a Puerto Rican father. I love them and Identify with them both. I have mixed friends, love them dearly! I love myself, and am loved for who I am. Maybe if you stop making people feel insecure and like one race is superior or better than they'd see life differently. What's the problem? You are!

I`m a white man with white parents, wife, and children. I was raised a Southern Baptist. I`m in my mid 40`s, so I grew up at a time when mixed couples were unheard of. I`m cool with it. I know people like the ones you`re ranting at, I feel sorry for them, because they don`t know how wonderful all people can be. We`re all alike, with the same feelings, emotions, fears, likes, dislikes. I have some mixed race friends, and I would bet that if we ever met, I would definitely like you.

well a lot of it comes to do with jealousy toward people who are mix because lets face it a bi-racial child in my opinion is a very beautiful child but you can call me racist for what i am about to say but to me it is just the truth and that is when a Chicano and a Black come together and have a child then you are looking at the most beautiful child of them all

Uhhh, so who are you yelling at? It better not be me, my mother is Dutch/Indonesian and my father is Italian. And calling me a problem doesn't really go over all that well with me since I never make a big deal about bi-racial people because it doesn't matter. The personality is more important than the race.

you know something, you make a good point.

I am Norwegian, Indian, French, and Scottish. But everyone calls me white. I too don't understand what the problem is. All white people are not pure white. Yet they are the first one's to spread racism.
