If I majored in mathematics with an endorsement in education plus take all the pre-req for pharmacy school getting my bachelor degree at a community college will pharmacy schools look down on me since I didn't go to a four year university? I am at a four year university now but I rather go back home to the community college because they just started there bachelor degree program this year so that is why I went away the first 2 years. Do you think pharmacy schools will look down on me for going back home to a community college?

Many of the schools do look down at community colleges. You have to have better than average numbers to be accepted by that route.
I have never heard of a CC offering a BS though.

I once was interested in going to pharmacy school, but decided on another path. From this interest I gained much knowledge about entrance to pharmacy schools. Entrance to pharmacy school is quite competitive these days. The more prestigous the pharmacy school, the more they may frown on your mathematic/community college background. They may frown because they feel that a sudden switch in career paths may be caused by interests in salary, rather than the love of the profession. To counter this, apply to more than one pharmacy school. In addition, volunteer at a homeless shelter. Most importantly, apply to a pharmacy for a pharmacist technician position. Once you are a licenced technician and are interviewing to enter a pharmacy school, you can explain several important points. You could explain that you have worked in a pharmacy, have worked with patients, and truely feel this profession is where your passion lies. Also, a high pcat score will cause an entrance board to disregard your background. I hope this helps.

I just got accepted into Temple's pharmacy school. It varies school by school but ultimately i think gpa and Pcat scores matter more I would take courses at the community but make sure you can get all As. It is ultra competitve but the fact that you have a degree will look good. i have a 3.6 gpa and a 80 composite. I think i am lucky to get in hehe.

you have the kiss of death because you're a CC purely scholar. many faculties are biased against them. some do no longer settle for technology credit from CCs. you will want a superb PCAT score to be aggressive.
