In my case my family is very dysfunctional to say the least. I have been blessed with a few good friends. I think I would still like to have both though.

i know this sucks but i would say neither. some people have horrible family members that there are times when enough is enough and you have to leave them alone. the same goes with friends. so i will pick a different answer. GOD.
