I don't know. I used to, but not sure any more. What would be the reason for this: my daughter, without a job, prospect for a job, or anything else, moves half way across the country from her ENTIRE family to be with 2 of her friends. Or, my mom was just diagnosed with cancer and has 4 months to live or less and will never get to see her newborn great grandson because my daughter is too selfish and self centered to bring him back to see her before she dies. Or, mom has no life insurance and no money and my hubby's company is closing down and he will have to find a new job and we are expected to pay for a funeral now, too, with no savings, thanks to spending it all paying the bills my self centered daughter left behind when she moved away. Got a reason for all that? If ya do, I'd like to hear it because I can't think of one word for it except - CRAP!

No, I think things happen, and people attach a reason afterwards...I'm not a believer in blind fate. I think too many people are afraid to admit that a lot of factors, including simple luck, are responsible for their current places in life. Worse, some people use "fate" as an excuse not to try to better themselves.

With all my heart, I do! I'm not a member of any organized religion, but I do believe in God, and that absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake. I may not understand it at the time, or like it necessarily, but I believe that everything is exactly as it should be, at any given moment.
:-)
Thanks for asking!

I think that we have to believe that things happen for a reason, that we deserve them (if it's something good) or that what doesn't kill us it makes us stronger. We like the idea of Fate, or Destiny. If it's good we say, it was meant to be, if it's bad then we have something to blame it on

I believe it totally. If you take a look at anything that happens, good or bad, there is a reason why.

Yeah. Sometimes not for a good reason, but a reason nonetheless.
