When you turn on the computer, a screen should show-up BEFORE the Windows start-up screen. On this first screen, you should see somention mentioned about system setup, or something along those lines, and the corresponding key that you need to press to enter that menu.
In case there's nothing to tell you what the key is, the most common are either the F2 key or the DELETE key.

After turning on your PC, your initial black and white screen will typically show what key to press at the lower left portion of the screen. Usually it is the Del or the F2 key. You will then see the BIOS menu in a screen with blue background.
In case you make erroneous settings and you get the Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD), don't worry. Clearing CMOS will bring your PC back to life. You can either use the clear CMOS jumper or just remove the battery for 20 seconds then place it back. Be sure your PC is unplugged when doing this.
