which computer screen is best?

i wanna know what glossy screens are and what those normal screens are and then those WXGA, WUXGA, SXGA etc are. can somone pls explain?

The best LCD screen is one with high contrast ratio and fast response time (8ms Gr-Gr or better).

SXGA is 1280 x 1024 res. w/ an aspect ratio 5:4

WXGA usually refers to 1366 x 768 res. w/ aspect ratio of 16:9

WUXGA refers to 1920 x 1200 res. w/ aspect ratio of 16:10

The traditional TV screen had an aspect ratio of 4:3 (width:height)
