Recordings of telephone conversations, use in a court?

I have a trouble with a person, He said me a lot of bad things by phone... Can I record the phone conversations, and after, Can I use this tape as evidence in a texas court?

This person must know that you are recording the conversation. You must have this person's permission to ensure that the recording is admissible in court.

You can record the conversation as long as you are a party to the conversation. As for admissability, that depends on the court.
