What do you think should happen to Imus after his latest verbal attack on the women's basketball team?

My personal feeling is he's had far too long to spout his hatred of everyone on a public forum. I think he should be fired! Shame on the stations who air his venom for thinking money is all that matters.

I think he should be fired. He did this while he was working. Any one of us (regardless of our profession) would have been fired if we verbalized that in our workplace. Freedom of speech doesn't apply when you are working - when you are there and they are paying you a salary, your butt belongs to the job. You are representing your employer in what you say while working. It clearly wasn't a mistake or miscommunication - it was about as blatant as you can get.

Don Imus's job was to do what he did, but he took it far and used it at a very inappropriate target. He could of used nappy-head ho towards that girl that faked the rape and no one would of made such a stink. He shouldn't be fired. They can't fire him, his boss was going right along with him. This is what they pay him for.

I think free speech should be recognized for what it is. Give it some time & I'll bet we will all see that any person of any color is capable of speaking their mind & they should be allowed to. Words can never hurt you.
