But has anyone that has been pregnant had this happen? My belly button has a discharge, not like leaking or seeping, just when I clean it out with a Q-tip it has a yellowish tint and smells. Should I ask my doctor about this or is this harmless?

Like I stated before, its not leaking or seeping, its deep inside. I keep my belly button clean, after showers I always clean it with a Q-tip, thats how I noticed a change.

One of the many wonders of pregnancy. Totally normal and more common than you'd imagine. It may or may not go away afterwards. Sorry. The best treatment is to keep it clean. You can use peroxide.

Do you keep your belly button very dry by drying well after showering? I think you should tell your doctor. He/she may have a suggestion for clearing this up.

do you have piercings on it? or have had it? puss is a sign of infection when its coming out of places. But vaginal discharge is normal, I've never heard of a belly button pussing. You should really see a doctor about.

I've never heard of such thing. Just to be safe, you could call your doctor and ask about it and if there's anything you can do. Until then, continue to keep it clean.

See your doc to make sure all is ok. I never had that with my 1st. Have it checked, prob nothing to worry about but you may need medication. It could be infected. Doc will know for sure. Dont stress about it, but see your doc. Good luck, you will be fine.
