I WANT TO CHANGE MY FIRST NAME I HAVE A CERTIFFICATE OF BITH ABROAD AS WELL AS AN AMERICAN BIRTHCERTIFFICATE - I HAVE A CHILD AND I AM MARRIED. WHAT PAPERWORK WILL I HAVE TO DO TO GET IT DONE AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE AND HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

You can obtain those free forms online from your local court. Just print them out and either mail them or bring them to the court along with the filing fee, it isn't that much although I'm not sure exactly what it is, $100 I think. I had been intending to change my last name for awhile but haven't got around to it.

Yvette is a very pretty name. You will have to go to the courthouse and they will inform you on what you need to have, and what it will cost.
