I second the vote for Aqua di Gio (for both women and men) and will add Issey Miake's perfume in the tall cone-shaped bottle (for women). My favorite!

...what works on a man may not smell the same on another one. It depends on the type of skin, diet, smoker/non-smoker.
Make sure you shower before you put on any cologne.Too many guys take an "air shower" and just put on cologne.
