Jesus Christ, give the kid some credit. Even if you think that stuff wouldnt be that hard, you have to give him credit just on creativity. You know if someone pulled one of those shots off in an NHL shootout that it would be all over the highlight reels for months.

I am with you redwings. I know I couldn't pull it off. You are right, the second a NHL player does that he would be on the news. I have seen a hockey player do what the kid did at the end here recently. I was pretty cool to watch him do that. They are able to do that because of their long reach. Nice though.

Wicked good on the shoot-out anyway but then again, so are the Harlem Globetrotters. Don't get me wrong, the kid impresses on the breakaway but so does Rob Schremp and he's borderline. Does the kid have any game besides a couple dekes on his high school goalie?
Any more info on him?

Sorry, but I agree with the other guys...yeah, nice moves, but who cares. So if the team gets to the shootout, they have a good chance of getting a goal from him, but otherwise, doesn't look like any of those moves would work in a real game, besides coughing up the puck.
Best NHL shootout trickshot is still Marek Malik's between-the-legs shot to win it in the 15th round.

Put two big, skilled defensemen in front of him and maybe I'll be impressed. A lot of kids look pretty darned good when it is just them and the goalie. There is a lot more to hockey than that, though.

nothing really special. I thought the goalie was better. I am a firm believer with hotdogs like that, if you don't put the puck behind the goalie it means nothing. I've seen 10 year olds to the "Crosby" trick. Its nota big deal. The puck doesnt leave the ice until the last minute. Its all momentum shifting.

So? it just takes practice. One normally doens't need to do that, and If you noticed, he only go half in. NHL guys get them all in against NHL goalies. All show, no substance.
It is rather impressive though, and He may get better with time.

Great puck handling ability, hopefully he finds a coach that tells him to stop those dumb a$$ tricks and concentrate on practically applied skills.
