It depends on whether you are a fan of American football, I suppose. Worldwide, I would guess the World Cup is the ultimate prize, not only because it is the prize for the world's most popular sport but also because a team can win it only once ever four years. It's popular and all the more treasured for its rarity.
In the U.S., I would cautiously say "yes", but it is still a generalizition. I personally don't watch football and have never viewed an NFL game... So...
It's relative. In GENERAL, for the U.S., yes it probably is. In the world, no. Individually, it's all relative.

I have to agree with someone above me. The ultimate prize in sports has to be a gold medal from the Olympics. A super bowl ring sure would be nice, but you may have gotten one without doing anything. True, in some cases you can also collect a team gold medal at the Olympics without competing..so I will amend my answer to state that an individual Olympic gold medal has to be the greatest accomplishment in all of sports. This means that you beat the best from the entire world, not just the best in America - and you did it on your own, not with the help of a team.
As far as professional team sports go, then yes, the Superbowl is king, but not the ultimate prize.
Actually if you think of the question in a different light, the ultimate prize in sports may just be collecting a million dollar plus purse for 4 days of great golf. Now that is an ultimate prize!

The Super Bowl is the crowning achievement for the NFL.
The ultimate sports prize for any athlete would have to be an Olympic Gold Medal.

This is not really apples to apples. Any athlete who spends his life trying to reach a goal, ie...tour de france, The Masters, The world series..etc...is going to think his sports prize is the ultimate.
I personally think any olympic gold medal or the Stanley cup in hockey with all it's storied history is the ultimate prize. But again, as many opinions as you have sports out there.

Probably not the ultimate prize but it is the ultimate game. Every other sports determine the championship through a series of games, the superbowl is the only single game to determine the champ, not first to win four games, or best of 7, one game to prove your the best.

I would say the World Series. Baseball has more of a draw worldwide, especially in Latin American nations and in Asia. It's even catching on in Russia and parts of Europe. Second, would be the NBA Championship. Basketball is zooming up the charts, maybe ahead of football. Third, would be World Cup Soccer. Fourth, Super Bowl.

Well, I guess for football (americano) it is. For baseball it's the World Series, college basketball the NCAA championship. But come on now, you may prefer one sport over the other and I may prefer a different sport, but there is no "ultimate prize in all sports."
