Not even close. War is hell. Movies cannot even begin to describe the agony the men go through, or the stress theyre under, or the bonds that develop between the men. War seriously changes people, but actors cannot portray that fully. This country needs a few less war movies per year, b/c i think too many times people jump into that crappy job under false pretenses. And yes, John Kerry was right it is a crappy job I dont understand why educated people willingly put their lives on the line - it's not a video game out there. Give the people who need the money the job.

Nope, but some movies are better at depicting it than others. "Saving Private Ryan" and "Full Metal Jacket" are much better at it than say, "Pearl Harbor" and "M*A*S*H."
