The rest of the hair is a medium brown. The woman appears to be in her 40's because she's not wrinkled. Should she tint the grey hair to match the rest, get a stylish hair cut or leave it alone? She usually wears her hair down and pulled back.

If she likes her hair, that's all that matters.
I am just a few short years (4 to be exact) from 50. I like my salt and pepper hair (rapidly increasing in the salt dept.) and have no intention of dyeing it. The woman you describe sounds beautiful. More power to her.

Long hair is wonderful...no cutting it yet! If i were her, i would likely tint the gray to match the rest, most likely even tinting the rest to make sure of a match. Then, touch ups every several weeks. Best wishes!

properly it truly relies upon. i do no longer think of every physique might desire to might desire to decrease their hair inspite of what others say yet I do agree that having extremely long hair (previous the shoulders) in some/many cases isn't this sort of wonderful concept whilst it is composed of older age. It in all probability does seem good on you so save it. My mom basically grew to become forty 9 on the instant, she seems spectacular for her age (no solar ever!) and her hair is long. even if, I tell her that if she desires to maintain the long hair to preserve it, do it and color it or enable it pass gray/white. The worst is once you're older, and your hair is often in a "i do no longer care" bun or ponytail, whilst ur re-enhance is often showing or whilst that's rediculously frizzy or un-tammed, lol. those are the only the clarification why human beings say previous women wouldn't have long hair; maximum human beings of ladies over the age of 30 (in step with danger used to) make it seem undesirable by skill of no longer worrying. wish this facilitates and don't decrease ur locks in the event that they are eye-catching!!!! :)

This is only my opinion k?Color the crown to match other hair,do not go darker it makes a woman look harsher, cut to mid back or shoulder, stylish cut...she will look under 40 then..>=)

I believe it does not look good. Also the texture of our hair changes as we get older. I think if she got a shorter hair cut regardless if she decides to go natural Grey or to add color, she will have a more youthful appearance.

Why don't you ask her what she wants to do? It appears your judging her for her natural gray hair. That doesn't make her look more ugly but perhaps mature and I think lots of women even with gray look truly sensual and I say coddles to her. Wake up boy and smell the reality.

Possibility that she has decided to go natural and is waiting for her hair to get long enough so that when she cuts it, it will all be natural grey and whatever. I actually have that problem. When to stop dying my hair and how to go natural with grey.

It's definitely dated .... it shows signs of just "having" long hair... where is the style in that? The long hair sounds like an open canvas... there are many possibilities... I would not be afraid to check out some different stylists to get their opinions... and then go for it! The comments will start coming in, and soon you will be thinking "wow, I had no idea people thought that my old long hair style was dated...."

Color it or cut it. Same goes with any age woman/girl with obvious roots. Either keep it colored or don't color it all. No two tones unless it is a professional streaking job or honestly natural other than gray.

I would say she should color the hair to match the rest.
