My mum watched it, I hated it, but Estelle Getty was quite funny

All of them but I think Sophia was brilliant. The writing on the show was superb all of the characters brought something different to the show. It was a team show the sex mad southern belle, the stupid kind Rose, long suffering Dorothy and her wonderfully scarcastic Mum, Sophia. They all went together so well.

I loved Estelle because she told you like it is and Blanche(Rue) because she was how she was and didn't apologize.
I pray Estelle feels well and that her family keeps up their good health and strength.

They all bounced off each other and made each other shine.
That is what makes it so difficult to choose between them. Each component part made the whole show.
In then end I think I would plump for Dorothy. She was the foil for all the others and tends to get overlooked.

Man, it's almost imposible to choose. It's between Sophia and Dorothy for me. They were my favorite, but I liked Rose too!!

That woman came up with the best one liners.... too bad she is no longer living.....she was a great actress.
A close second would be Rose....those St.Olaf stories...lol
