The premise of clue is that its a card game. Three cards are secretly taken out of the deck before the game begins. The first player to figure out which three cards are missing out of the deck of cards is the winner.

I highly recommend a game called Mystery of the Abbey instead. It's the same type of game, but the theme is super fun and the game makes a lot more sense.

What is clue? I think you mean cluedo I'm not sure. Cluedo is cool. Three cards are taken out of the deck: the murderer, the vehicle they used, the location they went to. You have to answer certain questions and investigate until you are sure all the suspects are cleared and there is only one left - the murderer. You take out the answers to make sure you are correct!

first you need to get one . . . then read the directions that come with the box.

Of course that is my smart-*** answer. I'm not sure what you really mean, are you asking about technique? Or actually how to play?
