It won't be terrorists. It won't be global warming. It won't be natural disasters. It will be superior beings from a distant galaxy with x10 the technology than Earth.

Tragedy always strikes us unexpectedly because we are so focused on what will happen next. What happens next is what was never expected.

Yen Tsun....Mr. Asker person. ^_^ Buddy. Pal.

You may be right. ^_^ Would you care to *explain* how you know this? Especially in light of:

--Fairly *massive* chemtrail activity across the United States midwest for 2-3 weeks straight last month....which was said to be at least in part a response to the UFO activity in Chicago?

--And the recent discovery of a *green* comet, and a fairly dim one, by an Austrailian astronomer named Lovejoy? Why would this comet be so dim, and *green*? And why would it need to be discovered by someone on that *other* side of the planet? Are we *sure* that "comet" is a natural phenomenom?

=)) *ROFL* Ok, I'm sorry, I can't keep a straight face anymore. It's not that I don't believe that it's plausible that there could well be intelligent life on other worlds, I do, ok?

But the Question sounds like something H.G. Wells wrote, what, nearly a century ago for _War of the Worlds_ about Martians? And honestly, if the enemy is so badass (and if they could get here they would be, on a technological level, since they can go faster than light-speed)....just *what* exactly do you expect us ordinary people here on Yahoo Answers to do about it again?

Do we look ready to mutate and evolve into super-humans, _Heroes_ style, in response to the threat? I doubt it.

Geez....sorry to be so cross here, but so far, every Answer I've written tonight has gotten a Thumbs-Down....apparently I am being stalked again (or just am on an ebb tide with crappy answers).

Thanks for your time though....and tell Ming the Merciless I said hello, ok? ^_^

yup....first they will find our oil, then accuse us of hiding WMDs........but after a few years of "staying the course", they will get sick of losses and huge expense and go home.

we can hope!
