Most of the time...which is pretty amazing considering how hard my wife works at the office with me and THEN comes home to make dinner.

I'm up for a "Home Cooked Meal" EVERY evening...as long as someone else does the cooking lol
Just my luck, that hardly ever happens to me, I'm always doing the 'home cooked meals' for everyone else, oh well that's the way life goes :)

Not only that: I, the man of the house, do the cooking! Darn if I'm going to ask my wife to cook after she spends nine or ten hours a day at a full-time job while I'm retired.

Yes. In the Summer I like cooler foods that sometimes don't require cooking. Sometimes you have to give it a break. Carry-Out is getting chancy with the quality of the food anymore. Cold food, food missing, personnel hygeine (they don't always wash their hands), tipping. Most of the time it is easier and better to cook yourself.

Well, kinda. I cook big meals sometimes, but I usually cook individual orders. I spoil my family.

I'd love to but there's just one thing in the way and that's that the cook is always me....then there's the clean up and if I mess something up I can't complain, the cook will kick my butt...

I usually have either a PBJ sandwich or a can of soup or a bowl of cereal.
When I eat at my parents' house, I get a home cooked meal. When I eat at my house, I get one of the above mentioned choices or 'fast food'.

I cook dinner probably 6 nights a week. I like cooking...don't like cleaning up though....lol
