ONLY if it asks for one.Remember, a resume sent to someone you don't know is
something to ,in part, make him want to know what you look like.
Don't give them something to use to pre-judge you.

I never did it, but then that's been a long time ago, and in today's worry of terrorism and whether you're actually a citizen or an illegal alien, maybe a picture ID would be good. I tried remembering if anyone who applied for a job at my place ever had a picture ID on their resume, but I can't remember. It wasn't many, if any at all, but then, again, that's been before 9/11, so times may have changed those issues. Best wishes. God Bless you.

Only if they request one while your at the interview, don't do it on line. I've been trying to find a job and have been using on line searches and have come across request that I've never encountered before. I tend to stay away from them. So far no legitimate company has asked for one. So if you do get a request, research the company before continuing your application. You wouldn't want to get scammed for your photo and then see it posted on some porn page attached to some naked man or woman's body.

who's the employer that your trying to impress? You'll have a chance to show your Picture ID when you get the job. Like the other people answering this question, you don't know who's seeing you picture or information. Be careful.

No. A resume is your attempt to land an interview (not the actual job). The interview is your attempt to land the job.

It's considered in bad form, as though you're advertising your race.
