In the past I've used Proactiv's lightening cream, and the scar fading pen from Clinique.

0o0o i tried proactives cream it didnt work for me...try some of aveeno'z products for acne scars they work wonders

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

With getting rid of deep acne scars it depends on how long you had the acne scars. The older they are the longer it will take for them to heal. It is best to see a dermotologist to determine the appropriate methods that need to be taken.

There's an ointment called Mederma, and it smooths out the texture of the scars. The only downside is that you have to apply it many times a day, but it does work over time. It's usually available at drugstores.

Since you mentioned that the scars are deep, I urge you to see a dermatologist. A doctor will be able to explain your options and you may get better results by taking care of these scars sooner.
