I thought it was amazing!! It made me want to be a Spartan in those times. The only thing you had to do was Honor Sparta, and it really wasn't that gory. If you like Braveheart and Gladiator, you will love this movie. I gave two thumbs way way up : )

The CGI backgrounds (especially the wheat fields) were a disappointment. Otherwise, it was bold, gory, and sexy in the right amounts. 3 out of 5 overall, 1 out of 5 for historical accuracy.

loved it. Don't go for historical accuracy. If you are after a good over the top action fight movie this is the best yet for pure blood and guts combat

It's simply a celebration of senseless gore and violence in the theatre, "acted" by bare-bodied men with contorted voices in a studio setting with lots of CGI effects and no outdoor shoot!

Ive seen it, and well I cud really sum it up with just saying "Never has attacking a person, with blood spewing looked so beautiful"
